New Announcements
Library Loaner Chromebooks: This is the last day of the week. Students who have Library Loaner Chromebooks, please return them to the library at the end of the day.
Spanish Club has a meeting during M30 on Friday, February 13th-we will be learning about Bad Bunny and playing musical Bingo! Please sign up during M30 on Monday, the 9th.
Student Council is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for our charity dance and the Ronald McDonald House by having a 1/2 court shot competition on 2/10 (Tuesday) Girls vs KML! Come support!!
Attention Students: For the safety and well-being of all students, it is essential that everyone exits the school building by 3:00 PM. If you are waiting for your ride, please remain in the front office vestibule. This ensures that students are in a secure and supervised area while awaiting transportation.
Yearbook - All Students: Yearbook sales end February 26th. The only way to guarantee that you get a yearbook is to pre-order a book. Extras will only be available in a limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis. Repeated Announcements
ANNIE - the Musical. Tickets are available now in the Main Office for this week’s performances. Come and support your school’s musical production this Friday @ 7 PM and Saturday @ 1 PM & 7 PM. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Junior Post-Secondary Prep Sessions:
- Junior students interested in attending a 2-year or 4-year college after high school are encouraged to attend one of our post-secondary prep sessions, which will be offered during Morning 30 on February 11 and 13.
- Students can sign up in Flexi with Mrs. Bryant for the session they would like to attend. During these sessions, we will discuss finding the right college fit, paying for college, applying for college, and what students can be doing in their junior year to prepare.
FFA:
- The FFA Snow Tubing outing will be held on Thursday, February 19, at Sunburst from 4-8 PM. The cost is $15 for FFA members. Please pick up your permission slip ASAP and follow ALL of the directions on the sheet to sign up in the Sunburst Portal and get the Electronic Waiver signed by parents ONE week before the event date, Feb. 12. See Mrs. Oelhafen with any questions.
- The next FFA meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7:00 PM in the Ag. room. Be sure to attend to find out more about all of the special awards and scholarship opportunities. Updates on FFA Week celebrations and Ag. Olympics plans will be shared. These events will require help from many members to make it all happen. Enjoy the fun social time after the meeting with many sweet treats.
